Brilliant location and breakfast , quiet peaceful and nice Garden Staff were pleasant and helpful Communal areas clean carpets Smelt fresh

Breakfast was exceptional, lots of choice and freshly cooked. Location good, a short walk to both the old village and in the other direction the beach - slightly up hill walk on return. Booked the large room and it was nice and big, although next time id choose the room with a sea view if it was available.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable public areas for dining and relaxing. Beautiful garden and excellent views. The breakfast was delicious and everyone there was friendly. A great place to get away from it all.

Was in a great location on the cliff next to the chine. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. The staff were all lovely and we enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and peaceful Hotel. all people we have met are an amazing and a host and we would definitely stay in this place again. The breakfast is delicious, the beach is close and it's quite easy to travel around the area. A very relaxing Hotel

Beautiful location with amazing sea views.Lovely and quiet, fab breakfast and lovely friendly staff.

clean, cozy, quiet, excellent location (easy access to Shanklin beach) and nice overall aesthetics in the rooms. Breakfast was filling and choices are varied.

The clifton was amazing such a beautiful place to stay on our arrival Dennis was brilliant very welcoming and informative even a little history about the family's that lived here years ago, literally the only constructive criticism I would give is that the shower head needed changing as was a little slow but the shower does fit 2 so a brilliant place for romantic get away, you are literally a stone throw away from a whole beech Town just below the property as its on top of the beech cliff, so many beautiful interesting things to see and do and some of the restaurants were amazing there are many hills and many stairs to the beech but don't worry if like me you have trouble with walking there is a lift that you can pay to go up and down in but honestly try the walk down it's so beautiful with the attraction of shanklin chyn on the way down plus 2 pubs to stop for drinks, the view are to die for could not be happier thankyou so much we made memories we will treasure forever

Beautiful location, wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff. Really enjoyed breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Great location overlooking the sea. Nice touch to provide residents with binoculars to view the ships. Staff were very friendly and helpful, well done.
