Situated in the village of Brook, the Clock House Cottage offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free onsite parking. It is just 10 minutes’ walk from Brook Beach and 1 mile from the Isle of Wight’s south-west coast. Overlooking the surrounding countryside, the self-catering cottage offers a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, washing machine, microwave and a refrigerator. The living area has a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Set within nearly an acre of gardens, the Clock House Cottage has a bedroom with a double bed , along with a second twin bedroom. Please note that there are not toilet/shower upstairs. There are two toilet/showers on the ground floor. The Clock House Cottage is less than a mile from Brook Beach, which is popular for kite and wind surfing. Compton Beach is set in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty and can reached after a further 10 minutes’ stroll. Central Newport is 8 miles from the Clock House Cottage. The Clock House Cottage offers ferry discounts to their guests.

Clock House Cottage is in an exceptional location on West Wight and can be easily located using Google Maps. The property is especially well suited to cyclists and walkers but is also a great spot for those wishing to explore the island generally. Please note it is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for guests with mobility problems or young children. Guests can walk to the beach in ten minutes and there is a plethora of oustanding walking and cycling routes directly from the property. If you are interested in either of these please contact me prior to your visit for further information. The local pub "The Sun Inn" is less than a ten minute walk across the fields too. The accommodation is generally simple and convenient but it should be noted that both shower rooms and toilets are located on the ground floor and the steep staircase means that this property is not suitable for small children or those with limited mobility. We therefore welcome children of 8 years upwards. We also welcome well behaved dogs and there is a small daily surcharge for this.
We look forward to welcoming you to Clock House Cottage. We will do everything we can to ensure you have a great stay. If you have any special interests /activities you would like to enquire about prior to arrival, do get in touch and we will do what we can to help you. We are keen walkers and cyclists ourselves and can support you regarding route planning and pick-up options for one-way trips where appropriate. We also offer weatherproof and lockable bike storage during your stay.
Our guests especially love the proximity and wildness of the beach and the wide range of nearby walks as well as the great choice of restaurants and tearooms located nearby. There are plenty of other attractions within easy driving distance of the property depending on your interest and tourist information leaflets are available in the cottage.
