The location of the property is lovely! The keys were available with ease, plenty fresh air & greenery!
United KingdomCosy and comfortable well equipped cottage. Much nicer than the pictures online. Sofas have been updated. Hidden away in private gardens. Ideal for a doggie break. Easy walks on the canal. Beaches within reach. Kitchen has everything you need which is always a pleasant surprise. Beds comfortable and heating works well. The log burner is a very cosy addition. Showers are powerful and towels nice and large. Everything was very nicely thought out. Hosts very responsive to messages. We did not get the email (company running rentals not host issue) explaining directions so rang hosts. Very helpful and friendly. We came to see our son and spent a very wet and chilly weekend here. We cooked, dog walked, went out in town and had a very lovely time indeed. We would love to come back soon. Driving into town is pretty easy too.

We were there on the coldest night in Scotland this year, & the wood burner made it nice and cosy! The dog friendly Bridge Inn is within easy walking distance for lovely meals at a discount (as it’s also owned by the property owners). Excellent powerful shower too! Not like most of the feeble electric ones that are so common nowadays!
