A cozy bed and breakfast with free Wi-Fi, Cornlee is set picturesque village of Aysgarth. Placed among the scenic Yorkshire Dales, it is surrounded by popular walking routes and rolling countryside. The vibrantly decorated rooms are each furnished with a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and a hospitality tray. A selection of fresh fruit juices, breakfast cereals, fruit yogurts and Yorkshire tea is served in the morning. This is followed by a freshly cooked, locally-sourced Dales Full Breakfast or a vegetarian option. Aysgarth is better known for its breath-taking triple flight of waterfalls, just 2297 feet from Cornlee. The Upper Falls were made famous by the 1991 film, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Bolton Castle is also just 12 minutes’ drive away.

    “Great one night stopover in Aysgarth. About 1/2 a mile from the river/falls. A brisk 3 mile stroll over to the castle and some good scenery. Bit damp (early Septemeber) but great views from the hillside.”
