Stow on the Wold itself, is a typical example of some of the beautiful Cotwolds towns and villages. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets and good for shops. A great location for walking to other lovely Cotswold towns and villages such as Bourton on the Water and the Slaughters. Also a good location for exploring further afield by car.

Lovely market town, with some great gastro pubs.
Especially the Queens Head pub at the end of the square. Landlady Anna and the bar staff Eva really looked after us and we had a great dinner there.
Another tip is the famous Scott’s of Stow kitchen shop and their outlet store full of bargains upstairs.

Great location. Short walk to market square of Stow-on-the-Wold. Very quiet neighborhood. Has parking for guests which is a nice feature in the small Cotswolds villages. Frankie was a top notch, responsive host providing us with lots of tips about local sights, walks and places to find good food. Very clean, a comfortable bed, electric tea kettle and coffee maker in room. Access to refrigerator and milk was an extra plus we appreciated. We would definitely stay here again, and we will recommend it to all our friends
Stow on the wold is a beautiful town with plenty of quirky shops ,lovely tea rooms ,restaurants and pubs ,would highly recommend visiting this lovely town ,the kings arms is a charming inn in the centre of town with plenty of parking ,great choice of real ales ,roaring open fire and very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent value for money and the rooms were very comfortable with a lovely view over the Market square would def recommend staying here .
it is an old-fashioned British hotel , in an old building which fitted with modern conveniences like WiFi and USB ports. Sumptuous breakfast and dinner, and a lovely lawn & garden. But the best part is the staff - they were all uniformly helpful and loved their jobs. For example, they helped plan my bike routes through the back roads and also locked my bike overnight in their shed. The town - Stow - is wonderful too.
The location of the hotel in Stow on the Wold was perfect for visiting local areas. The Marketplace was lovely with great little shops and restaurants, especially the Sheep.
We ate at the Stag on our first evening and the food was very good, and a great selection of choices for breakfast too.
Lots of beautiful villages only a few miles away.
The staff were very good and very polite and would do anything for you.
Superb quaint pub/boutique hotel. Everything was cosy and ideal for all ages/getaways. Food was excellent at dinner and breakfast, great drink selection, housekeeping very friendly and all staff were lovely. Parked on the street and huge car park nearby. Walking distance to everywhere and we even caught the bus so we could have a drink which was on time and easy to locate! Would definitely stay again.
We stayed for just one night but were warmly welcomed and soon checked in. The room was as expected, cosy and comfortable. The bed too was comfortable. The hotel is very dog friendly which was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. The location is excellent too right in the main area of Stow on the Wold.
I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was impressed by how clean everything was. Plus, the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout my visit.
Brilliant location right in the centre of Stow on the Wold. The apartment was deceptively spacious and super clean. There were even two bathrooms to just the one bedroom which makes getting ready in the mornings and evenings so much easier!
