“The property is situated in a little courtyard which was fully enclosed with large key opening door to enter. We took our dogs with us and knowing the courtyard was escape proof we could let them wander in and out. The lovely bright decorations in the cottage combined with the tradition of the building brought it up to date while feeling the history of the place. The courtyard itself has strings of solar powered fairy lights and the mix of planting gave it the feel of being in the Mediterranean but in the middle of town. A lovely place to stay and we hope to be able to do so again”

“Karen who met was so friendly and made us feel so welcome from day 1,karen is there to help if you need anything,the cottage is very private and ideal for a couple,you van just come and go as you please,its very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay,we did only use the kitchen to make breakfast but it has everything,lovely and warm cottage with a lovely bed,it also has a lovely courtyard away from everything,which we sat in at night after the pubs shut at 10,the cottage is only 5/10 min walks from everything we needed like mother shiptons cave,castle and many shops/pubs and restaurants,everything was 10/10 and we will be going back next time in knaresborough,thank you so much karen for our stay,mark&julie”

“The central location was excellent. Karen the owner and her husband are wonderful, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. The cottage, although snug is in a pretty courtyard, which during the warmer weather will be a lovely place to sit with (or without) a glass of beer and/or wine. Inside, although bijou the cottage contains everything needed and the bed is very comfortable. All in all a wonderful stay thanks to the charming town of Knaresborough and our wonderful hosts.”
