Great little location. Not too far from the beach (Porthkidney was our favourite, a hilly 30 min walk away but massive, empty and dog friendly). Public transport great, so easy to hop on a bus to St Ives from outside house. Clean bedding and towels. Dishwasher. Little log burner heats the house quickly on colder days and super cosy! Pretty garden. Bev really helpful and gave us lots of amazing tips for things to do locally. House filled with lots of gorgeous art and antiques. Dog friendly.

This is such a well located cosy cottage! It’s minutes from the beach and Carbis Bay train station; which is then one stop to St. Ives or lovely villages in the other direction. We so liked all the charm the cottage offered, the beautiful views from each window into the lusciously planted garden and the wonderfully curated interior. There are so many lovely touches and points of interest that make the cottage both welcoming and fascinating. All you need is provided in the way of towels and the kitchen is stocked with crockery, cutlery, cleaning stuff etc. There’s also a little welcome box with teas and coffee and treats for dogs in a tin beside it. The owner Beverley couldn’t have been nicer and was available should we have needed help with local knowledge.

The cottage was lovely and cosy, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The location was perfect for us, about a 20 minute walk into St Ives and a 5 minute walk to the Tesco superstore. The local pub (Cornish Arms) was welcoming and the nearest beach, Carbis Bay was stunning! Bev was a fantastic host who was available if we needed her. She has an excellent knowledge of the area which certainly helped us make the most of our time there. The cottage was exactly what we expected and just what we wanted for a fantastic getaway with our dog Floyd. He was very happy and made to feel welcome with dog treats and other helpful items. The garden was beautiful and we felt really tucked away in the colder evenings with the log burner on the go. There is a smart TV so the usual streaming platforms are available for those cosy nights or days in.

Location was perfect, bus and train station made traveling to St Ives for dinner easy. Bev was amazing and despite being a bank holiday when nothing was open replaced the broken mattress the next day.

Wonderful cosy cottage. Private garden, with lovely little seating areas. Easily accessible for coastal walks into Carbis Bay or St Ives. Bus is also on route. Host was easily contactable and everything was as listed. Lovely lady to deal with. Will definitely return.
