“Excellent breakfast. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The room was also lovely and warm which was much needed on arrival. The swimming pool was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast room in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful landscape was a bonus too. Staff were all very helpful, friendly and king.”

“Lovely building with views across the countryside from the Terrace. Great breakfast with plenty of choices, nice bright conservatory to eat in. Happy friendly staff who worked hard to ensure everyone was being looked after well. Dinner menu was varied, the starter Mussels were plenty for two. Lounge area with TV. Lovely area on the terrace to eat outside if you chose to. Swimming pool was nice, didn't try the SPA services due to time. The sauna and steam room were closed due to Covid as expected. Nice size room with balcony overlooking the tennis court. About 1 mile walk to town with no footpath for first 1/2 mile so not easy unless you have a car. Golf course looked well maintained. Would be even better in the sunshine as you could sit outside the pool area on the loungers.”

“Breakfast - very nice and tasty. Choice of continental, full english and adaptable. For example, I had poached eggs on toast Dinner - had dinner on the first night, very good food and well recommended Room - tidy and bed comfortable Used the pool (which we had to book a 1 hour slot), also booked a 1 hour slot for the gym. Partner and friend used the golf course which was good value for money Would like to make a special mention for Emma, she was very efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even recommending a local indian for us to try.”

“Food was good especially the cooked breakfast which was excellent...perfect poached eggs. Also, excellent cream tea. Main hotel was nice and the staff were great. Hotel was quiet and all the staff wore masks. Had two dogs with us so couldn't use restaurant but plenty of seats else where. Nice grounds. Rest of family used pool and felt perfectly safe. Obviously money has been spent doing up main hotel and spa/pool area.”

“Couldn't fault this hotel. Beautiful room,cleaned comfortable with everything you'd need. Lovely indoor swimming pool. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not eat there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.”
