This is a fine B&B in the suburbs of Norwich and I travelled for a concert nearby. Kate, the landlady, extends a warm, friendly welcome and the house is nice, quiet and relaxed. Even though I was leaving before breakfast time, she still made provisions for me to take cereal and other food before I left which was much appreciated. Parking was easy and even though it's a driveway there was plenty of room. The room itself was great - comfortable with a nice bed, and a spacious shower in the ensuite. Wi-fi was useful, and I had a view out over greenery and local gardens as well. Overall, I had a great stay, thoroughly recommend this B&B.

  • Hi. I am going to a gig at the UEA. Is this in walking distance / accessible by public transport please?

    walking distance through a wood (20 minutes?) but walking back in the dark? Otherwise 50 minute walk mainly along main roads / pavements. Taxis £10 or so, but always tricky to get hold of one after a gig, even if pre-booked

Please call 01603 451349 to make your booking. This is our family home which often involves our younger grand children playing, mostly quietly, in the garden or around the house. It is worth mentioning that we are always concerned for the well being of all of our guests. As such, we are definitely not an appropriate venue for any kind of later night entry, drinking, noise, or popping in and out of the front door during the night for a smoke, all of which will disturb either our other guests or neighbours.

We are located on the outskirts of Norwich in a quiet, executive, residential area, and within walking distance of UEA, the N & N Hospital, UEA Broad, a lovely lake, set in the countryside around the University, local playing fields, parks and UEA's very own Sportspark, which is open to the public. We are 3.5 miles from the City Centre, served by a local bus service and Park and Ride, although more convenient for car owners. 1 mile from Waitrose Supermarket, pubs, restaurants, & takeaways.
