The evening meal was excellent with brilliant service.The cooked breakfast was superb with the same level of service.The room was small as advertised,but was very clean ,comfortable and warm.

United KingdomWe had a fabulous 2 night stay at the Crown. Crucially for Southwold, it has onsite parking for resident guests. We were in a "comfy" room which was spacious and well appointed. We liked the bathroom so much we might design our one at home to match. The reception staff were very helpful - phoning within half an hour of our leaving to let us know my husband had left some fairly crucial belongings in the bedroom and when they couldn't immediately reach us on the phone, they left a note on our car that was still parked in their car park - really great attention to detail. We really liked the back bar for a cozy late evening drink and the lounge for guests which was a really nice "home from home" touch without having the expense of booking a suite. We dined there on one of the two nights and had an excellent meal. Would definitely recommend.
