The house is so lovely, looks newly remodeled and has wonderful carvings,etc. in the yard and home. The Scottish breakfast was amazing, and the hosts went up and over the moon in terms of services and helpfulness. It is a lovely walk to the Caledonian Canal, and Neptune’s Staircase. They were extremely gracious about my need for gluten free food. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Check-in was easy - plenty of parking on site, and we met with our friendly host who directed us to our room and bathroom. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, with facilities including toiletries and towels. Lovely place to stay!

The property is a lovely place. It has very much a homely feel. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. We had an en/suite bathroom. A hair dryer was supplied in the room along with the usual kettle, tea and coffee. There is TV. We had a lovely view of the mountain from our window. We would most definitely recommend this b&b to friends and will be returning in the future.

  • how far to train station

    The train station is about 1.5 miles from our house buses leave from here every 15 minutes or so

  • Please can I ask if the breakfast is cooked

    Hi no I’m afraid we don’t do a cooked breakfast anymore due to COVID a breakfast pack is left in room comprising 1bottle of water 1 fruit juice 1 brioche bun 1 yogurt bar 1 breakfast bar and 1 porridge pot and a piece of fresh fruit regards Iain

Our home is a family run guest house which has been running since 1992. We have large outdoor decked area where guests can relax with beautiful views of Ben Nevis. We are no longer able to provide any served breakfast but grab bag breakfast is provided in each bedroom.

Our names are Iain and Alyson Stewart. We pride ourselves on our hospitality towards our guests and do all we can to make their stay in our home memorable.

We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our home looks directly towards Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis and surrounding mountains and glens. The Jacobite steam train runs close to the property and provides the opportunity for stunning pictures as she crosses the river lochy with Old Inverlochy castle and Ben Nevis as the dramatic backdrop. Golfing, fishing, cycling, climbing, sailing, boat trips are all available close by. Nevis range gondola rides, high wire course, downhill mountain bike tracks 2 miles away. Property is on the banks of the river lochy which has its own otter family. Their antics can be seen on many an evening. We live in a quiet area 2.8 miles from town centre. There is hotels and lounge bar within 15 minute walking distance where bar meals can be purchased . Also supermarket, fish and chip shop, Chinese and Indian carry out within fifteen minute walk. regular local bus service runs right at bottom of driveway. We have large of street parking area. Ben Nevis distillery very close to house. The world famous Neptunes staircase is 1 mile from Cuil Na sithe and provides spectacular views of Ben Nevis.
