Curlews Cwtch is a wonderful holiday home and is only a 20 minute stroll to Polzeath beach. With its vast expanse of sand and brilliant surf, there is plenty to explore! Polzeath is a popular coastal village having several shops that sell everything from surfing equipment to clothes, alongside lively pubs and cosy cafes. The beach is large and sandy, watched over by lifeguards in the summer and is ideal for surfing. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the local culinary scene, as Polzeath boasts an excellent selection of atmospheric restaurants serving local ingredients and fresh seafood. The famous watersports haven of Rock is only a short drive away where you’ll also find the famous St Enodoc Golf Links. Just a short drive away, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Daymer Bay (a true watersports haven) where you can relax on golden sands and look out peacefully over the Camel Estuary and across to Padstow.
