One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. The Swallows Nest room was beautiful and so comfortable, with a massive bathroom. This was recommended to us by friends who have been back a couple of times because they fell in love and now so have we. Breakfast was delicious too (we had ours in our suite). Couldn’t recommend more!

  • We are looking for accommodation for A week next October with 3 bedrooms and then the same weekend a room can u help

    We have 2 cottages and 9 bed and breakfast rooms so I'm sure that's something we could accomodate

  • Hello, I’m hoping to come and stay with you in November and wondered how far are you from Horsey Beach seals? And nearest shop and pub etc for food?

    10 minutes drive from Horsey Beach, and there are plenty of local pubs/cafes and a village shop in Sea Palling. You can also park at Waxham or Sea Palling and then walk to Horsey on the Coastal path

  • Hi, we are looking to stay somewhere on Monday next week and noticed you have said no pets. Wondered if you would allow us to bring out puppy with us? he will sleep in his cage. Regards Adam

    Sorry no the bed and breakfast does not welcome dogs, however dogs are welcome in our holiday cottages if you were thinking of staying in the future, the cottages are currently fully booked until September.

Dairy Barns is located in the heart of our family farm between the waterways of the broads and the coast. Ian Deane is 3 generation farmer on the 360 acre family farm which is still farmed in-house. Up until 2001 it was a working dairy farm; however we sold the herd due to it no longer being financially viable and were left with a selection of red brick barns in need of a new life. Hannah Deane was at the time a Human Resources Manager and wanted to develop a business that would mean she could work alongside her husband Ian on the farm and raise a family whilst ensuring the farm remained a viable family business. The Dairy Barns opened for business in December 2005. The Dairy Barns now consists of a 9 bedroom luxury bed and breakfast complex and 3 holidays cottages on the farm. We also hire the whole complex for weddings and family groups. Our ethos is to offer a genuinely warm welcome to our part of Norfolk and to help our guests make the most out of their stay with us. We have an amazing team who work incredibly hard to offer brilliant customer service and care.

We are the Deane family, Ian my husband runs the farm and I run the Dairy Barns. We have 2 children and an array of horses, ponies, and 2 dogs Shadow the Labrador and Blackberry the Jack Russell

Based down a quiet country lane, surrounded by farmland, only 5 minutes drive from either the sandy beaches of the Norfolk Coast and the magical waterways of the broads, the perfect place to escape to. The nearest pub is 2 miles down the lane and there are lots of nice places to eat and explore in very easy distance of the barns.
