Everything specially all the touches with Covid spray, sanitiser, gloves. hairdryer, lamp, glasses all in bags wish a lot more places did this. Breakfast brilliant.

Located in the North West Highland Geopark, Davar offers well-appointed rooms with attached bathroom and stunning views of Loch Inver. There is free parking and WiFi, and a menu of freshly cooked breakfasts.
Each room includes a trouser press, seating area and tea and coffee facilities, and many have views of the loch. All have an en suite shower with a hairdryer and toiletries.
Davar serves a full Scottish or vegetarian breakfast, and also daily specials. You can also enjoy omelets, toast or homemade pancakes with bacon and syrup. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.
The Neolithic Caves at Inchnadamph are one of the local sights, and the mountains of Suilven, Quinaig and Cul Mor can all be viewed from the property. Closer to Davar, the ruins of Ardvreck Castle can be seen on the banks of Loch Assynt, a 20-minute drive away.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.5 for a two-person trip.

Davar looks over the loch and harbour of Lochinver and has spectacular views of Suilven and Cul Mor behind the village. W regularly have red deer on the hill in front of the house Davar is the ideal base to explore the North West Highland Geopark.
Dave is Lochinver born and bred and is both a regular hillwalker, amateur archeologist and photographer - he has walked the walks around the area, climbed the mountains and knows all the best paths. Caren is the creative one and is responsible for the unique decoration in each of the rooms and all of the delicious freshly prepared homevcooked breakfasts.
Assynt has some of the most spectacular mountains anywhere. It is situated in the heart of the North West Highland geopark and is a haven for hill walkers, fishers, mountaineers, geologists and archaeologists. We also have some stunning beaches.
