Great position. Lovely to have larger rooms to accommodate our diverse family. Comfortable; good use of space; basic but totally adequate & beautifully done. Loved the guest service area.

Liked: walks by the river, charming old houses in Upper Beeding and Bramber, the old church, learning about the history of the village, easy access to the south downs.
Pubs and restaurants looked inviting but we didn't sample them.
Would have liked: more shops in Upper Beeding (there is just one at the garage and a newsagent) but found what we needed in nearby Steyning where there is a Co-Op and butchers, etc.
