The accommodation was booked of Booking.Com at a reduced rate Upon booking I did not advise for a ground floor room as my partner has painful knees and cannot clime stairs. The room allocation was on the top floor. The owner changed this immediately and a ground floor room was given. An extremely accomodating and polite owner.”

The owner arranged our parking, checked us in and allowed us to leave our baggage so we could enjoy the day in York. This made our stay so relaxing! The room was well cleaned, comfy beds and there was a great tea and coffee facility in the room, as well as lots of toiletries. Parking permit purchased from owner on arrival and got a space right outside the door. 15 minutes walk into York and close to shops for essentials. The price was very good as well ”
