There were many thoughtful amenities including binoculars in the rooms for the wonderful views and power strips to make charging easy.

Great location. Short walk to town center. Brilliant views of the sea from the bedroom window. The owner was very welcoming even offering to make a pot of tea on our arrival. The owner had added lots of thoughtful things for the house/room (eg. A small fridge in the room supplied with fresh milk!) The whole house was scrupulously clean. The owner gave us lots of local information about the surrounding area.

Our stay at Dol Aur was absolutely brilliant. We could not fault it. We had the double/king sea view bedroom and we couldn't quite believe how stunning that view really was, especially watching the sun set in the evenings. The bed was huge and so comfy. It was so nice coming back after a day out and having fresh linen, towels and water in the fridge; that was something that we weren't expecting. Our host Angela was so lovely, welcoming and attentive, she really made us feel comfortable. Breakfast was fab, good vegetarian options. The walk into the small town/village was short, and there were some lovely restaurants/ pubs to visit; and if you want something quick, they had a great chip shop and Chinese takeaway, which we took back to the B&B to sit and eat outside whilst watching the sun set. Would love to come back one day!

Well kept and maintained! The view over looking Royal St David’s golf course, the sea and the coastline was incredible. The room was clean, tidy, bed was comfortable. For a night, couple of days or a week stay really couldn’t fault it. The owner Angela was lovely & friendly couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast was amazing fresh quality produce.

One can see that the owners invested all their money into making the BnB experience outstanding - guests stay in the main house while the owners still occupy the small space they built in the back garden for their use while they were renovating the house. Yes, there is an amazing ocean and seascape view, but that comes with the property. What makes this place special is the accommodations and the way they make each guest feel. We travel regularly (about 20 BnBs annually) and this rates among the very best. Perched overlooking the town and ocean, getting to the site is along a typical steep, narrow Welsh street, but there is safe, on-site parking. The room and common space is extremely clean and well appointed. Bed comfortable; bathroom good; in-room facilities very nice. We will go out-of-our-way on our next trip through Wales to stay here. This place has earned no less than a 9.5 rating for a number of years; we can't understand what the .5 deduct was for.
