The staff were all most pleasant, helpful and attentive and the public rooms were all comfortable and well kept. The restaurant and food quality were to a very high standard and all very acceptable.

Dinner and Breakfast at the Douneside House, made a proper shame of the notion that the chef's in the UK makes poor food - The food is excellent and very well worth a try.....
