The level of personal and attentive service was exemplary. I have worked in many 5 star hotels and stayed in countless more but rarely have we experienced such excellent and warm service! The food was another example of the detail to attention and quality of produce used to prepare the dishes. Amazing all around.

We had a lovely time at Driftwood. The staff were wonderful and the food was the best we had on our trip to Cornwall - we had the tasting menu at lunchtime and sat on the terrace with the incredible views. Breakfast was also included which was a welcome change to some similar style hotels! The room was very comfortable and had a nice sea view. It was just a short walk down to the beach (and a short walk along the cliff top to the Hidden Hut). We were lucky with the weather so had a great time relaxing in the garden with a drink, but in the evenings sat in the bar and played board games. We will be back!

Driftwood has a superb location, perched on the hilltops overlooking the sea with a view out to Nare Head. The restaurant offers exceptionally good food both at dinner and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful without being remote. We were offered a room upgrade on arrival and enjoyed splendid views, as did our original room choice. I would highly recommend it, particularly for a romantic break for couples or for foodies. There is also excellent walking and good proximity to local attractions like the Eden Project.

Everything! The attention to detail throughout the property and service are exceptional. The food was outstanding and the staff were a joy - attentive, friendly and helpful. The location is stunning and we loved our early morning swims followed by a tray of tea, coffee and homemade shortbread delivered to our door.
