This property is absolutely beautiful, sets right on the Loch. The most comfortable room and bed, I suggest spending a few nights. We only had one as we had problems with our flight cancelling our original flight and we had a ferry to Lewis. It is a magical place and the Inn keeper is great, very kind and accommodating.

Check In/Check Out Times Due to complying with the new cleaning protocols, the Guest House for new arrivals will be open from 4PM ONLY. If you do arrive early, then please feel free to leave your car in our car park and take the 5 minute walk into the Village. Check out time is 10am.

Lochview Guest House is a family run business nestled on the shores of Loch Broom, within the picturesque fishing village of Ullapool on the NC500 route. We provide luxury accommodation for either 1 night stays (supplement rate applicable), and reduce rates for 2 or 3 night stays to enable you to really enjoy and see what the Highlands has to offer, along with information on where to go and what to do.

Ullapool is well equipped with everything a person needs for an amazing, diverse holiday and for years artists have been attracted here: painters, craftsmen in jewellery, pottery and leather, all live and work here which makes for some interesting shopping! There is a golf course, a fully equipped leisure complex, an award-winning museum, and a wide range of other visitor attractions such as coastal scenic and wildlife cruises, walks, fishing, kayaking all of which can be accessed from the guest house. In the evenings there is much to entertain. Great pubs, live music, and some of the best restaurants you'll find anywhere! Strolls can be taken along and around the harbour, watching the fishing boats land their catches. We are also about 1 hour drive from Inverness and Lochinver which takes you through unforgettable, spectacular views. There are unspoilt beaches within easy reach, clifftop walks, and many mountain peaks, although dramatic, are reasonably easy to climb. Wildlife is in abundance, from our doorstep you could expect to encounter, pine martin, red squirrels, otters, and badgers.
