The accommodation is very comfortable and in a quiet location. Having a bathroom and an ensuite was a big advantage and there's plenty of space outside as well as inside. There are lots of very good places to see nearby, with information on them in the property. We had one slight issue with the hot water, but this was fixed within half an hour by the friendly maintenance team.

  • Hi, just wondered regarding the two extra single beds to be put up, where would these go? As we are looking for 4 adults and 2 children - is there room for them to be put up permanent in the 2nd bedroom? or do they go in the lounge? Many thanks, Lisa

    They are meant for the lounge as adult guest beds, it would be a tight squeeze in the master bedroom.

  • Hi Do you offer a price with full cancellation for 2 guests as presently it only gives partial for 2 ?

    The cancellation policies in place are 14 days free cancellation, I am not sure where you are being told its partial?

  • Are you taking bookings this weekend?

    For Holiday bookings they are from the 3rd July, all bookings prior to this you must be a key or critical worker with appropriate proof.

  • What proof would you require? I am also an essential worker but have the weekend off and will accompany him.

    the company should supply you with a letter giving reason for travel, if you get stopped for staying in a property without proof you and us are fined.

  • Hello Can you confirm that this is all on the ground floor as one of the reviews mentions upstairs bedrooms and we are 3 ladies in our 70's one with walking difficulties

    Duleep Singh barn is on ground floor only. Virginia barn is on 2 levels. I will check where this information is coming from as its incorrect. Hope that helps. Sue

The team at Blo Norton will always make your stay special. Sue deals with bookings, Malcolm is there for maintenance and Rhonda to make sure all is clean and tidy. We have a great team to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable from the start.

Property info

Nestled in the grounds of the Historic Blo Norton Hall once lived in by Prince Duleep Singh, is Duleep Singh Barn. Its cosy and has lots of character and easy for those with slight disabilities to get around comfortably as only a small step up and down into the kitchen and bedroom areas. The New Satellite Wifi system is working well, so for those who cant leave their phones alone, you will be ok. We supply a travel cot and High Chair and you can bring 2 of your favorite dogs with you. We do also allow other pets but please let us know what it is. Please Note, we are in the country and do have flies and spiders, these are natural and do not mean that our properties are dirty. If you do not like the odd spider and fly and don't like our methods to detract from you, ie fly sticky pads, please do not book our property.
