Wonderful second stay at Duleep Singh Barn whilst visiting Bressingham Steam & Gardens for their annual fire engine rally. The property has everything we could ever need, including enough space to park 2 full size fire engines! The beds were comfy, showers hot with good pressure, every need taken care of in terms of kitchen facilities (including washer and dish washer).

A 15-minute drive from Dis, the luxurious Duleep Singh Barn lies in the grounds of the 16th-century manor house Blo Norton Hall. This rustic renovated barn offers accommodations for 2 to 6 with free on-site parking. The accommodations includes a double bedroom with en suite shower, a twin room and a family bathroom. The lounge includes a wood burner, TV and HI-FI system, with a dining area and well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Two extra single guest beds are also available. The property is surrounded by farmland, and woodland areas with a children’s adventure park. The village of Blo’ Norton is surrounded by quiet lanes, ideal for walking, cycling and painting. Duleep Singh Barn is around 15 miles from the historic city of Bury St Edmunds, with Norwich within a 45-minute drive. Thetford Forest Park and the village of East Harling are within a 10-minute drive.

The team at Blo Norton will always make your stay special. Sue deals with bookings, Malcolm is there for maintenance and Rhonda to make sure all is clean and tidy. We have a great team to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable from the start.

Property info

Nestled in the grounds of the Historic Blo Norton Hall once lived in by Prince Duleep Singh, is Duleep Singh Barn. Its cosy and has lots of character and easy for those with slight disabilities to get around comfortably as only a small step up and down into the kitchen and bedroom areas. The New Satellite Wifi system is working well, so for those who cant leave their phones alone, you will be ok. We supply a travel cot and High Chair and you can bring 2 of your favorite dogs with you. We do also allow other pets but please let us know what it is. Please Note, we are in the country and do have flies and spiders, these are natural and do not mean that our properties are dirty. If you do not like the odd spider and fly and don't like our methods to detract from you, ie fly sticky pads, please do not book our property.
