The apartment is exceptionally cosy. Two bedrooms (1 of them is en suite) and another one has toilet right in front of the door. A large spacious living room with sofas and arm chairs to relax, Dining table and kitchen has got everything that one need. one can be private enough in each bedroom and shut the door for full privacy. Noise level is zero for a comfortable night sleep. I loved the Jacuzzi bath tub. The location couldn't be more perfect. Walking distance for restaurants, pubs, supermarket, town centre, cathedral,iconic market square, river walks, train station and boat trips. I will definitely stay again there and I am glad that I didn't stay in that expensive hotel chain which was literally across the road.

The first apartment in Durham to achieve Visit Britain's 5-star rating, Moonlight Apartment was refurbished completely with Irene's sense of style and décor, and Ray's use of heavy tools and light engineering. It was such fun we did it all again a year later, in Oasis Apartment!
We sold our IT Services business a few years ago after 20 years of telling our clients to 'turn it off, and then turn it on again'. But that taught us about good service, and how to keep people happy. We travel a good bit ourselves, and we reckon we know what people like - and what they don't.
You're right in the centre of Durham City: 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral, nearest pub and restaurant both within 30 seconds of your front door. Just the secure, underground parking space is practically worth the price! There's an impressive view of Durham's historic streets, while the second-floor location provides just enough separation form the life below.
