“It was exceptional in every way. Beautifully appointed . From our arrival we were made to feel welcome more as friends than as paying guests. The bedroom worked very well and was spacious and comfortable plus the shower worked really well in every way. Finally the breakfast. I am and always have been a big fan of a good Full English Breakfast although I eat fewer now than I used to. The breakfast here as ordered from Lauren and cooked by Andrew was definitely the best Full English breakfast I have ever eaten and I am 69 and have been lucky to sample a lot of breakfasts in a good number of ‘luxury’ hotels. Andrew goes out of his way to source every component of the breakfast from local suppliers committed to product quality and the proof is in the eating. It goes without saying that we have already booked for a return visit - a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds.”
