“Good facilities ie gym, spa and pool. Ample parking. Spacious room, although it was designed for a disabled guest and therefore had a lower sink and wetroom shower.”

“This is a great hotel in the middle of nature. You can sit on the balcony at the back of the dining/bar area and look out over the golf course and beyond. The swimming pool is great too, large and pleasant, if a little colder than most hotel pools. Many of the staff were new but they were all equally friendly and went out of their way to help. Beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. Uckfield, which is within walking distance (some of it via a lovely forest path) is a great place to visit as well.”

“Food excellent - particularly the evening meal. Breakfast was limited, on first day cereal choice was Bran Flakes or Granola, fruit was melon every day.”

“The young man on the reception was very helpful upon arrival. He was very accommodating for my partner who is unable to walk, so gave us a room nearest to the entrance door as possible. This was quite a distance, but never the less it was the nearest and we came at short notice, so quite happy. Breakfast could be eaten anywhere and there was a vast choice, including hot stuff. The food at night was delicious, we ate from the bar selection which was for example Steak and proper Fish and Chips, what I call normal, not the fancy gourmet stuff they served in the restaurant. So there was a choice to eat upscale or down so no-one could complain.”

“Everything was great. The dining room prices were steep but the pub menu was good enough for us, so we ate there. Bed was comfortable, tv large and good picture, WiFi fast, nice shower. Nothing bad to say. We enjoyed our stay.”
