“This is a wonderful gem in the Forest of Dean's crown! It's a great location on the edge of the woodland (walkable from the cottage) Simmons Yat is just up the road, as is the magical Puzzle Wood. We stayed with our two young children and the facilities, cottage and garden were perfect for our needs, beautifully maintained, great stocked utensils in the kitchen. we are not eating out types, but there are numerous places to eat in Coleford and a nearby pub. The rooms were very comfortable. Fully recommend for families, friend and general lovers of the outdoors wanting to affordably access the forest rapidly. I personally found this particular area of forest the most wild and beautiful too, so worth an explore!”
