Location, setting, room, bar/restaurant were all lovely and very tasteful. Reception staff who also waited on the restaurant and breakfast is superb at her job. Genuinely friendly and efficient. All of your other staff were great too. It was nice that the owners grated us and asked what we thought. It seems a really well run establishment which is no easy feat in these tough times in the hospitality sector.

Located on the edge of the North Riding Forest Park, East Ayton Lodge is a family-run hotel set among 3 acres of land. It is less than 5 miles from Scarborough and has a restaurant, a bar and a conservatory overlooking the secluded gardens.

  • Are the dog friendly rooms all outside in the courtyard. We stayed before, breakfast was lovely, served by a wonderful lady. The room was ok but a couple from a wedding were above us and they ruined the stay because they were so noisy and rowdy. This is putting us off booking.

    Our dog friendly rooms are in our outside annex. We always want our guests to have an enjoyable stay, just let us know at reception if we can help!

  • stayed twice here. the last time we stayed it was very run down but looks lovely now has it been refurbished in the last 3 years?

  • We are coming 10/9/20 until 12/9/20. We are booked in with other people but didn't ask about bringing our dog. I'm not sure if we are booked in under our name Hodson or if it is under a group booking under Horne.
