Excellent location in the West End of Edinburgh's Princess Street. An old gerogian building with 5 floors and 10 seperate apartments which each fit large groups from 10-35. Our apartments have views of Edinburgh castle and are within walking distance to lots of bars, Clubs, Coffee shops and high street shops. All our apartments have free WIFI, private bathrooms, Kitchens , Stereos and every guest is issued with individual keys to come and go as they please. The perfect place for large groups celebtrating hen weekends, Stag parties, private events or other group functions.
The company took over the building in November 2014 when the property was operating as a hostel. After a thorough renovation the company now operates the building as an Edinburgh Group Accommodation provider. The company has experience in Edinburgh Group Activities and will off private functions and event activities within the venue. Initial specializing in the renovation of Edinburgh city centre properties for private landords. All aspects of joinery work , construction, interior design , furnishing as well as painting and decorating are undertaken in the renovation process. The common bar area offered particular opportunities and challenges as the company had not operated a licensed premises before. However with the creation of a stage for performances - a renovated ballroom and public bar space tas well as a VIP area the functionality of the 400 square metre space was considerably enhanced. Eventually a decision was made to restrict alcohol sales to residents only. Thus enhancing the security and social environment for those staying in the apartments. The challenge for the company of taking on an existing business and dramatically changing the use and style was difficult.
In and around Edinburgh's prestigious Princes Street and Westend Area all variety and style of service and provision can be found. From designer hair salons , to musical instrument shops, book shops, Scandinavian bakeries, cosmetic surgery clinics , antique shops, along with your typical clothing stores, Superdry, PRIMMARK, Office, All Saints and Gap. Supermarkets are within 50 metres of the Edinburgh Group Accommodation including Tescos, Cooperative and Sainsburys all of which open from 7am till 11pm. The West Princes Street Tram stop is 100 metres from our location with the Airport Shuttle Bus and City Link bus tops even closer. With the addition of a taxi rank just beside our front door transportation in and out of the city could not be easier. Since the West End of Princes Street was reopened after the construction of The Edinburgh Trams route, many high street brands have moved into the area including Pret a Manger, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, and Wagamama and many many more. A number of major Edinburgh Nightspots are literally on our doorstep. from Ryans Bar 1o metres away to the 50m distant Ghilie Dhu, Huxley and Rat Pack Piano bar.
