The room was very impressive, with a nice level of comfort and decoration, we thought this was at a much higher level than the price we paid. The staff were excellent, Riu checked us in and he and the other staff made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to make sure everything was just right. The hotel itself is in a great location only a few minutes walk to the Grassmarket, or Princess Street in the other direction.
United KingdomThis was our first covid travel, so first time staying in a hotel for months. it was so clean and we felt very safe. The bathtub was nice and the location was right next to the castle. The hotel was taking extra precautions to ensure all guests safety. it felt like we were the only ones there at times and we barely bumped into any other guests. The room was spacious and served its purpose.

We stayed in a cozy double room with a very comfortable bed. The room and the bathroom were spotless. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of gems remain undiscovered, so a new trip is coming soon - definitely we'll stay here!
