We loved the room. It was very cozy and able to be kept warm during the autumn chill and rain. The bathroom was a good size and had plenty of hot water. The breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. We loved the fires in the lounge and having the pub on site was also very lovely. Loved trying their very own whiskeys! We liked them so much we packed some home to the States. The hospitality and warmth of Eilean Iarmain was demonstrative of the Scottish country we so enjoyed.

The location of Hotel Eilean Iarmain was absolutely stunning, The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a lovely old world charm, we had the room above the bar with amazing views. The Food was lovely and reasonably priced with a great selection of sea food. A great choice at breakfast and the full breakfast certainly set you up for the day.

What a stunning setting for a cosy luxurious hotel. We stayed in the suite and it was worth every penny. A great place to relax at the end of each day after driving, walking and swimming. The staff are super friendly and we enjoyed the bar every night. Despite Covid restrictions we were well looked after!

the location!!!! every view was stunning. we walked the paths around the hotel in the early morning and it was just lovely. had dinner by candlelight and devoured the local cheese and breakfast porridge was perfect. loved the whisky tasting, chatting w the artist in residence and meeting the hotel cat. our room was quintessential scottish in its charm and comfort and we had a relaxing tea in our room after a long day of exploring skye. when you are greeted by a double rainbow at your accommodations what else can you ask for?

In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart. It offers a 2 AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, and is next to the headquarters of the award-winning Gaelic Whiskey company.

With log fires in its reception rooms and a wood-paneled dining room where you can enjoy candlelit dinners, Hotel Eilean Iarmain retains many traditional features. Its hallway is decorated with stag antlers and a stuffed golden eagle.

Rooms have wooden furnishings, and some have open fireplaces. Each also features facilities for making tea and coffee, and has scenic views from the windows. Suites also feature a TV. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

  • Hi. Are ok here restaurants or pubs within walking distance please ?

  • Do they still have family cottages across from hotel ,as we will have 2 dogs ,have stayed her before

    Madainn mhath, Our Bar welcomes well-behaved dogs and so does our lounge. The only place we do not allow dogs in is our restaurant.

  • Do you allow dogs? we have a well behaved Border Collie

    Feasgar math, We have multiple dog friendly rooms. For bringing your dog their is a £10 surcharge added to the final bill. Our bar also permits dogs at the bartenders discretion. As long as your dog is well behaved there would be no issue.
