And the walk to Whitby was perfect which was great as I'm pregnant. Would definately stay here again and will recommend to others.

Big wardrobe and sideboard with plenty of cupboard space for clothes etc. The hamper for breakfast was exceptional. I needed Gluten free, I had plenty of choice and it was amazing. Can't fault this place at all it's perfect

This beautifully renovated Edwardian house offers rooms with attached bathroom, 5 minutes' walk from Whitby's town center.
Elford House is close to all that Whitby has to offer, including the beach, the harbor, and the shops. For the more adventurous, the North York Moors National Park and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway are within easy reach.
All of the rooms with attached bathroom are comfortable, elegantly furnished and in beautiful condition. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
What makes Elford House special is that there is no need to get up too early, because your hosts deliver your continental breakfast to your room. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your break.
Elford House is family-run and your hosts, Linda and Ged, pride themselves on offering a warm welcome and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that brings people back time and time again.

What makes Elford House special and different from most guest houses is our breakfast. We deliver a continental style breakfast to your room, so no getting up too early. You can relax and enjoy your breakfast at your leisure and in the privacy of your own room. We also have private off-street parking, suitable for 1 space per room, which is accessible 24 hours a day - a rare luxury in Whitby!
Hi. We have been at Elford House for 15 years and seen many people come and go. many of which visit us time and time again. We are not intrusive and we respect your privacy but we are available if you need us.
