Nestled in a quiet street in the picturesque town of Aldeburgh, this charming cottage is located in a prime position close to Aldeburgh High street and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, pubs, cafes and boutique shops. An ideal retreat for couples or a small family looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the enchanting Suffolk coast. This stunning property has been refurbished during the lockdown period and now has a stunning open plan ground floor living and dining area. There are also fantastic views from the master bedroom over the marshes and the river.

Neighbourhood information

Aldeburgh is a town situated on the River Alde on the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast. It is famous for the annual Aldeburgh Festival, which takes place nearby at Snape Maltings – home to the renowned composer Benjamin Britten. Aldeburgh also hosts a carnival which takes place annually over a long weekend in August. It includes a funfair, mini-marathon, carnival procession, military band and fireworks display. Whilst in Aldeburgh, make sure you visit the lifeboat station, Moot Hall, Martello Tower, buy fresh fish from the fishermen’s huts on the beach and do not forget to try the famous fish and chip shop.
