United KingdomBeautiful period building set in green hills, in the centre of Buxton! Its only a 5 minute walk from the station which is so handy. Beautiful building, attentive & friendly staff. Spa pools are beautiful and clean. Relaxation pool was out of order when we visited but 2 out of 3 pools isn't bad. The steam rooms and saunas are lovely and its nice to have a variety of types, like infrared and finnish. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice, 1 main each and buffet to choose from so there is so much food to eat! Pastries, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, juice - its all so tasty. Slept amazingly like on a cloud, room was warm when we wanted it and could open windows for fresh air. Perfectly dark and quiet at night so slept like a log.
