We received a warm welcome on arrival and, during the whole stay, all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. We only had breakfast there, with a good choice for everyone - I would recommend the 'full English'. The hotel is in a quiet location and the grounds are a delight (when it's sunny!)

Location, visiting family in Low Fell. Lovely appearance both inside and outside, much nicer than the modern hotel chains quayside. Friendly staff, plenty of choice for breakfast, didn't have dinner in the restaurant but it seemed very popular. Will definitely stay again when visiting in future.

The staff were all very friendly and very attentive. The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and good portion size, very filling. We weren't rushed and had time to sit and relax at the breakfast table.
