The property was ideally situated for our needs. It was spotlessly clean and the lounge was outstanding in decor; very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, with superb choice and perfectly cooked. Loved the additional touch of sliced sausage and clootie dumpling! The preserves were all home-made and tasted terrific! Hosts, too, were exceptional in their welcome and willingness to please.

I found Dunoon to be a pleasant and friendly town with all the amenities i needed. Cowal is a beautiful part of Scotland with tremendous opportunities for outdoor recreation. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, yet is close to Glasgow and its amenities.

A trip to Benmore gardens was worthwhile and the surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful. Dunoon it.self is beginning to feel a bit run down and neglected, very limited eating options at night even at the weekend where you strugle to find anywhere after 8pm still serving food apart from carry out food .

Dunoon is a lovely little town that needs to advertise its wares much more effectively. In particular opportunities for walking in the surrounding countryside. There is a reasonable range of shops and places to eat but opening times are too restricted to attract more tourists.

The caravan we booked was excellent.
The caravan we booked was excellent. It was a well earned break from home care of elderly mother . The site was gorgeous lovely walks tranquility was everything our little dog also had a great time with so many walks in different areas. Trip alas was to short but it's all we could get time for .love to come back though. Janice Chloe and husband
Such a fabulous hotel in Dunoon. The receptionist (Mimet) was more than helpful throughout our stay from offering a hairdryer to serving a great dinner, drinks and breakfast. He was attentive, welcoming, friendly and helpful the whole time. Our bedroom had a great view across to the loch with double aspect windows. The bedroom was clean as was the bathroom which had a big bath with shower over. Dinner was great as was breakfast.
We love the flat for its central location and cleanliness. Wifi and kitchen facilities are good .The flat is very quiet and the key safe makes entry easy . Ross is easy to communicate with and we have enjoyed 3 stays so far .
The flat is opposite the promenade and swimming baths . Morrisons and the cinema is close by . Dunoon has plenty of entertainment available . It's wonderful for outdoor walkers ,cyclists etc.
Everything, very beautiful hotel setting with lots of short easily accessible walks from the property to wake up with. The staff were superb, couldn't be more welcoming. Great shower and very comfy bed. Tastefully decorated and lovely bar area too. Both breakfast and our evening meal were also excellent. No complaints at all infact but I think the friendly staff really made it.
The Whistlefield Inn was a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating in this historic inn. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the location lends itself to some great hikes and exploring the towns in the area. An extremely relaxing stay.
A great location on the edge of the Argyll forest. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the privacy. Pucks Glen was on our doorstep and it is a wonderful place for walking the dog. The Cowall area is beautiful and we were close enough to get to shops and attractions easily.
This is an absolute GEM in the heart of Western Scotland.
Placed aesthetically overlooking the Holy Loch, it felt very similar to Norway.
Served a top breakfast and the owners were extremely warm and welcoming. Very informative of the area and the room was absolutely top, very clean and comfy.
Room was clean with an excellent view over the Firth of Clyde and Dunoon's West Bay. Breakfast was excellent. I ate in the hotel one evening and dinner was really very good. Staff were very good. All those I met were Eastern European including from Moldova and they were friendly and efficient.
The owners were unbelievably hospitable, I've stayed in this area every year for the past 25, years but normally in Hotels, but never will again, from now on its the Clyde View, immaculate room, immaculate on suite and just totally clean, cant recommend highly enough.
Booked this property for 3 of our guys who were working in the area recently. Feedback from them was all good. So much so that they wanted to return the following week, unfortunately the property was fully booked. Good contact from the host prior to arrival.
Location, central Dunoon near all pubs and takeaways and short walk from the ferry.
Breakfast was v good. Staff were excellent very happy and helpful.
For what we got it was expensive. A premier inn would of been better , cheaper and bigger beds.
The place was a great size for our group of six. It was really well kept and walking down to the water was really beautiful. And, the fact that we could do some laundry was a pleasant surprise. It's a beautiful area.
Comfortable cabin with two bedrooms, main bathroom and en-suite toilet. Good kitchen and family area. Located in beautiful surroundings no matter what the weather is like. Highly recommended.
Comfortable stay in this lovely characterful old hotel. Excellent position facing the lake. My room was upgraded. Good food. The quaint but steep staircase is memorable!
Hotel is in a fantastic location. Just a short walk to the town centre. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and ready for a 2pm check in.
