The hosts were lovely and welcomed us with tea and cake - so kind! The rooms were so comfortable and clean as were the communal areas. Breakfast was absolutely incredible and there were so many lovely small touches.

Exmoor House is set on Dunster’s oldest street in Exmoor National Park. Housed in a Grade-II, 17th-century building, this charming property offers a lounge and 6 rooms with attached bathroom.

    Hi. Dunster has a wide choice of restaurants all within a few minutes' walk. There are two great pubs, The Stag's Head being next door (also with good food on offer). We're afraid there is no access to our private garden here at Exmoor House. Thanks

  • Do you have any dog-friendly rooms?

    Hi, I am afraid that we don't accept dogs in the property, in part because one of us is unfortunately allergic to them! Apologies that we can't be of help. Minehead Information Centre might be able to advise alternatives.

  • Do you have space to store 2 bikes securely overnight and on any days that we are not using them?

    Hi, not a problem - typically we take bikes through to the private patio area which is totally secure, but if the weather is poor or you'd prefer we can put them in the shed. We also have a full range of tools etc. Do ring if you'd like to discuss

    Hi, we have no dedicated parking, but there is on street parking on West Street and other locations nearby, and bike bays in the Dunster Steep Car Park (10 mins walk). Thanks

  • Could you tell me the most convenient place to park?

    We do not have private parking but cars can be left in bays in West Street opposite the Guesthouse which are free and unrestricted. We also have a limited number of free parking passes for the nearby national trust car park.

  • Hi. Do you have any rooms with walk in showers please?

    All bar one of our rooms have walk in showers. The one that does not is a twin/king room that has a shower over a bath. Kind Regards Steve
