Bewdley is a nice little place, interesting museum and nice walking along the river. Buses to Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Ludlow and Telford run through the town so easy to get around as parking in these places was troublesome. We ate at The Mud House in the evening which is good and reasonable.

Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn.
Bewdley is lovely town on the River Severn. Full of Georgian buildings and the stone bridge over the river, it is a great place to visit and stay. Lots of pubs including the Bewdley Brewery Tap on Lax Lane and various places to eat out, all within the compact town centre. There are lots of walking opportunities in the area, including alongside the River Severn to Arley.

Bewdley were having flood defence work in the town so a one-way traffic system was in operation, this worked brilliant for us as the guest house was only a 5 minute walk from the town centre! There were some car parking around the guest house as well, some free, most you paid for and it was reasonable!
We went for the Christmas lights switch on, so there were Christmas market stalls there as well, so it was a Bostin night had by all...a Bostin night, and bostin accommodation. The views of the town are spectacular, but you need to walk around to find the Bostin ones!!

Bewdley is located at a crossing point on the River Severn and has a varied collection of eating and drinking establishments, all within easy walking distance.
I like the Bewdley Brewery Tap on Lax Lane with its selection of local brewed beers, produced on the premises. Bewdley Museum is an interesting visit with a nice relaxing courtyard cafe with snacks, cakes and drinks available.
There are riverside walks to follow along the River Severn or take a ride on the excellent, volunteer-run Severn Valley Railway up to Bridgnorth and Kidderminster.
The Clockhouse is a fabulous little place with few rooms hidden in a Fabulous location! It was Spotlessly clean with Fab decor throughout. Before our stay we received Really detailed clear check in instructions of how to enter property with codes and where to find keys to room. Room was fabulous, so cosy and looked like new. Little private courtyard at back of property and a free car space we were lucky enough to use as it was free!
We will definitely return here when back in Bewdley!! Highly recommend
Excellent Country Inn hotel with top-class chef preparing wonderful restaurant dishes. Well-appointed comfortable room. Very relaxing bar with wood-burner and great range of beers and other drinks. Super location for steam heritage Severn Valley Railway, Wyre Forest Park, Bewdley Safari Park, and Severn Valley Country Park. Easy access to Birmingham by road or rail in under an hour.
Location was perfect, just by the river. Easy access to the town and Severn Valley Railway, where we spent a great day.
Menu had a good selection and drinks too.
Beds were so comfy and my Mum enjoyed the disabled facilities in the bathroom.
Lovely quiet garden area at the back of the pub which was a little sun trap.
All staff get 5 stars, couldn't do enough for us.
We enjoyed the location, area and the quirkiness of the pub. The bar areas were very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The bed was comfortable and the bed linen nicely laundered and lovely fluffy towels. The shower was also good.
Their own free parking spaces was a very good added bonus.
(1) Location of the hotel is central to Bewdley with a good car park for residents only parking at the rear of the hotel. Remember to register you cars registration number at check-in.
(2) Good well stocked hospitality tray, coffee, tea, drinking chocolate, bottled water & biscuits.
(3) Very comfortable beds
Well cooked and very tasty breakfast which kept us going all day.
Great location close to the steam railway, Bewdley town centre was within walking distance and there is a great pub next door ( the Great Western).
The hostess was very helpful and informative and deserves to do well in her new venture.
This was a great location near the center of Bewdley. The apartment was spacious for 3 of us. The bathroom and kitchenette were nice and the apartment had the best selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates of any place ive stayed at. The directions and check in access were easy to follow.
The breakfast choice was excellent and all ready for you in the morning. The cooked breakfast was served quickly, so no waiting around. The breakfast room was beautiful and guests spaced out at large tables. All very elegant and in keeping with the lovely house.
Beautiful cottage, cosy but with high spec modern facilities.
I would highly recommend this cottage, lovely hosts and a great location.
We were 50 mins away from Warwick Castle and 5 mins from West Mids Safari. 1 min walk from the town centre of Bewdley.
Lovely spacious room, comfy bed and nice bedding. Thought the room would be stuffy as right at top of hotel but wasn't, there was also a fan which we didn't need. Nice view over river. Liked the fresh milk in the fridge.
The house is located in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Bewdley, just a short walk from the town centre. The house is beautifully furnished and the breakfast was first class. We will stay again when in the area.
Location and the parking arrangements while we stayed at the property. We were there as a group of older gentlemen visiting the SVR for the weekend and the property is located well for Bewdley Station.
Great location overlooking the River Severn and close to Bewdley centre. Spacious and well furnished apartment. Breakfast served by the cafe below was lovely. Hosts and staff friendly.
Clean and spacious. Good shower and quality equipment (kettle, cups etc) ideal for using the room as a bedroom. interesting design within the mansard form of roof.
Location was central, staff were friendly polite and helpful, flat was comfortable, spacious, clean and well presented..... faultless, will be stopping there again.
