“we stayed for three weeks with Fernlea guest house. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the breakfast were a brilliant start to the day. Vanessa the host was extremely polite and welcoming. We would highly recommend this place.”

“Everything, lovely guest house, spotlessly clean.we were welcomed by Vanessa and let into our room early, which was very kind of her. Vanessa showed us to our room which was a lovely 2 single bed bedroom, (it was the only one left when we booked) fortunately I mentioned the single beds and Vanessa offered us a double room, which we were thrilled about This room was also lovely, lovely hot shower, big king size double bed and a single bed. Large TV, tea coffee biscuits etc, topped up every day. Breakfast was excellent freshly cooked to perfection when you came down, there was also cereals, fresh orange and toast, Vanessa was very freendly and helpful telling us where might be nice to visit, she had a convention with everyday makking us feel very welcome. Would recommend to any one and would certainly stay there again . Thank you Vanessa for everything , ”

“We had a very warm reception on arrival and we were shown up to our room which was absolutely spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable with ensuite shower which was nice and hot. Breakfast was first class and set us up for the day. There is a pub just over the road which served good evening meals. Although the guest house is on quite a busy road junction we had no trouble getting into and out of the parking area in front of the property and never heard any traffic noise during our stay. I cannot recommend this guest house more highly, and would gladly stay there again if we are in the area.”
