Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of the team who clearly explained everything to us. Rooms were clean and spacious and adequate for my needs. Every member of staff I encountered was very professional, cheery and polite. Food was in my opinion was very good with adequately sized portions

Originally built as a farmhouse in 1672, the Fieldhead is located on the edge of Charnwood Forest, just 7 miles from Leicester and 1 miles from Junction 22 of the M1.

Built from local stone, this charming traditional inn was a working farm until the 1980s. Now, it has a cozy restaurant, a bar and a terrace for guests to enjoy.

The seasonal menus offer a wide selection of modern and traditional British favorites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks. A selection of real ales, carefully selected wines and special teas and coffees are also available.

The hotel offers 28 comfortable rooms with attached bathroom, each of which is individually decorated with its own unique charm. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms and in public areas of the building.

The National Space Center, Donnington Park and Museum, and East Midlands Airport are all within a 20-minute drive of the hotel.

  • What is cancellation policy? I am just checking that if i book at the "nin refundable rate" but then need to change date due to unforseen circumstances (ie illness), would i be able to?

    It is classes as a superior room we have 2 one four poster and one large room with a slay bed.
