A warm welcome awaits you at Fig Cottage, self-catering accommodation in the beautiful village of Holt, just 20 minutes drive from historic Bath and five minutes from Bradford on Avon. Free WiFi and parking are provided. Fig Cottage offers a comfortable sitting room with flat screen TV and stereo, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with double shower and private patio garden with use of a Weber BBQ. Crisp bed linen, feather duvets and fluffy towels are included for the duration of your stay. Breakfast goodies are provided, such as pastries, muesli, cereals, Greek yoghurt and fresh milk. There is also tea and a Nespresso coffee machine. A travel cot and high chair are available on request and we will happily lend toys for any visiting little people. Bradford On Avon railway station is just two miles away, with regular trains into Bath. Buses run daily from Holt to Bath. We recommend that guests have a car to make the most of all the adventures to be had in the area.The nearest airport is Bristol Airport, 28 miles from Fig Cottage.
Fig Cottage is surrounded by fields and National Trust gardens, yet a two minute walk takes you to the locally renown Tollgate Inn. A five minute stroll will take you to The Field Kitchen, with its fantastic brunches, lunches, cakes and coffee. The historic Georgian city of Bath is just 20 minutes away by car. Visit the Roman Baths, take afternoon tea in The Pump Room, bubble away in a rooftop pool at the Thermae Spa, enjoy an exhibition at The Art Museum or hit the shops! Enjoy the English countryside with walks from your doorstep, explore The Courts National Trust gardens next door or visit 15th Century Great Chalfield Manor. The picturesque town of Bradford-on-Avon is just a five minute drive away. Here you can explore the Kennet and Avon canal by bicycle or boat, indulge yourself in the characterful shops, sample cheeses and fresh veg from the market and admire the architecture. Garden lovers are spoilt for choice, with Iford Manor and Dyrham Park also within easy reach. Soak up the historic atmosphere at Lacock Abbey, or families will have a blast at Longleaf Safari.
