Lovely, very quiet setting in its own grounds well below the main road, with view across Lock Kanaird to Isle Martin from the spacious kitchen and cosy little sitting room. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Everything looked new and spotlessly clean. Fabulous hot shower, comfy beds, and - an unexpected but much appreciated bonus - a little heated drying room for boots and clothes. Large garden with washing line. The cottage is on a private road with almost no traffic. From the bench on the terrace you can watch the ferry sailing across to Stornaway. From the cottage you can walk around the sea loch on more or less level ground. Fabulous base from which to explore the Ullapool area.

This all ground floor property has two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom, a bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen with dining area, a drying room/boot room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside there is ample off road parking, a decked area to the front and large enclosed lawned garden with sea views and BBQ. Fisherman’s Cottage is a wonderful holiday base. Ullapool, nestling on the shores of Loch Broom and overlooking the Summer Isles, is the largest settlement in Wester Ross. The town offers some lovely pubs and restaurants, a range of shops including a well-stocked supermarket, a challenging coastal golf course and a museum and Visitor Centre.
