Bream well placed to explore the Forest of Dean and surrounding area, whether you're walking, driving or cycling. Beechenhurst Sculpture Trail worth a visit, recommend breakfast in the cafe. Chepstow and the castle worth visiting. Good walks around Nags Head Nature Reserve. Miners Arms in Whitecroft, good real ales and a garden to sit in. Coffee shop in Bream, very welcoming too. Loved the sheep roaming around the village

Bream is not an attractive village.

Bream is not an attractive village. It has some shops, but no large supermarket. Shopping is in Lydney. There's not much to do in the village, but it is well located for the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

visited during storm dennis so a short trip was enough! It was just me and my 6 year old and we dont mind a bit of rain however. In better or just generally dryer weather you could stay for much longer as there is so much to do! Would come back

Great country location with good food and drink options. Cosy 1st floor flat. Close to the border with Wales and also approx 30 minute drive from Bristol and Gloucester, also Newport. Having a car is essential to get the best from the region.
