United KingdomGood choice with breakfast, rooms very warm but then they could be cooling down from summer. Local draught beer in the bar. Local bus service outside hotel - who needs car hire !

United KingdomThe situation of the hotel was good, right on the sea wall, staff were friendly, ate at the hotel a couple of evenings, which was fine. Like the position being just walking distance into St Helier, will look forward to staying again.

Built in traditional style, on the site of maritime fort that once guarded St Helier, the Fort d'Auvergne Hotel features an enviable location by the sea, a private terrace, an indoor swimming pool, and free WiFi throughout the hotel.
Each room at the Fort d'Auvergne has an private bathroom, a TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms also have far-reaching views of the sea, either over the beach and Victorian lido at Havre des Pas or out to St Clements Bay.
A hearty breakfast is served daily in the restaurant, which features scenic views of the sea. Overlooking the beach, the hotel bar has live entertainment 3 nights a week.
The easy walk to the town center only takes 10 minutes; a bus stop, with regular service to the town center, the museum and local attractions, is outside the hotel.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 8.7 for a two-person trip.
