Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks.
Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Malham is absolutely beautiful.
Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.

Malham walks are a must.
Malham walks are a must. Two main walks that I did were both great. The malham cove walk is challenging and you need plenty of energy and the second walk to gordale scar/Janet's foss is a very easy walk and a must too. It is also good for dogs. The two pubs are welcoming and friendly. Easy to get around and the old barn cafe has lovely staff and sensible prices.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the made to order breakfast was amazing. The location was much better than expected, we had hoped to stay in malham but it was fully booked, however after staying at the Victoria, which is only 20-30 min walk from Malham we would always choose to stay here in the future & great to be away from the crowds. Excellent village location with parking, great food & the staff are exceptional, very friendly & helpful.
Absolutely beautiful stay at Miresfield, the rooms were gorgeous so spacious, comfy and decorated beautifully, loved the touch of some homemade biscuits too. Breakfast was fabulous, loveliest staff to welcome us and take our orders for breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect, can take a walk to Malham cove or explore the near by villages, free parking at the hotel too. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning!
The location of the Lister Arms is great for Malham Cove, Janet's Foss and Malham Tarn.
The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, with lovely squishy pillows.
The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble: they stored our bikes in the cellar.
I would thoroughly recommend the chicken kiev with katsu curry sauce: it was amazing.
The Buck is in a perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the numerous and spectacular sights of Malhamdale.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and the food tasty and well prepared.
We were a party of four, celebrating a birthday and enjoying some good walks in some stunning scenery. We will definitely return.
A lovely location just over a mile from Malham. Comfortable room, excellent food and beers, but what really makes this place is the exceptional welcome from the lovely owners and staff. Perfect base for walking with car parking in a designated area across from the church next door. Can’t wait to return! Thank you to you all!
Perfect location in the centre of Malham with the cove circular walk starting round the corner from the pub. Our room was lovely and clean, breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly. We had dinner at the lister arms the first night and the food was really nice. Would definitely come back and stay here again.
Staff were so friendly couldn’t do enough for you, hotel was clean and rooms were modern with great facilities smart TVs in bedrooms with Netflix, food at the restaurant was lovely and fairly priced, good choice at breakfast. Perfect location to explore Malham and surrounding areas. Would definitely come back!
Stayed overnight on a long distance walk. It's close enough to Malham and the Pennine Way goes right thru it. Perfect location. And the FOOD was WOW. Better than either of the pubs in Malham and the real ale selection was impressive. Breakfast was superb as well. Nothing to complain about here.
The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much to ask for.
It had a warm and inviting atmosphere would stay again and recommend to anyone.
Best place I have ever stayed with my dog, the most dog friendly restaurant, pub and accommodation, no area off limits.
Fabulous location; walk from YHA Malham to Janet Foss, Gordale Scar waterfall and Malham Cove viewpoint, circular walk of three hours across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Comfortable rooms and very clean, with good bacon baps breakfast available!
Everything! As vegan travelers we were excited to be able to eat and drink anything and everything on the menu.
Staff were all helpful and friendly.
The location is gorgeous.
The room was cozy.
We will definitely be returning in the future.
This was one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in. It has a “home from home” feel and we had a truly relaxing stay. Many places claim to be dog friendly this one is not only dog friendly it welcomes all guests with open arms!
Close to most things in and around Malham. 20 to 30 mins to local pubs with great food. Excellent for walkers with dogs, plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. Close to other towns with things to do.
