Would thoroughy recommend the liquor room for cocktails and miller and carter for evening meal. Don’t stay at Mercure Telford City hotel though ….. have done so twice now with bad experience both times.

We came to attend an angling championship.
We came to attend an angling championship. The weather was exceptionally wet. Roads were closed and Ironbridge was flooded. We attended the competition and went home as soon as we could. We did revisit the Grazing Cow restaurant for our second evening meal. The food was good and a good atmosphere.

Birthplace of the industrial revolution, there are plenty of historical ruins and artifacts to see. Ironbridge is amazing considering when it was built. Multi museum pass is best value if you are staying for a couple of days. There are plenty of small villages to explore but be prepared for the narrow farm tracks if venturing off the main A roads.
Taxi’s are available in and around Telford but if you are travelling to a rural location such as Neenton (the Pheasant) you will need to contact a taxi firm such as 1st Choice Taxi’s in advance to make a firm booking. Uber services don’t Appear to be available once you are a few miles from Telford itself and mobile data is not always available.

Brilliant location with so many great attractions! Town park is fantastic and all free! We also visited the exotic zoo which was lovely too! So much to do in the area, we will return again and stay longer next time to fit more in!

We didn't really use Telford apart from the shopping center for essentials (plenty of options to choose from).
Ironbridge is lovely and the micropub is well worth a visit (The Coracle). Hoo Zoo was amazing as usual and Frankly Alpacas is well worth checking out as a new venture.
We were visiting a show at the Telford International centre which is only a few miles away. The White Horse is not in the centre of Telford itself but that was no problem for us. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the food is great. If you don’t want pub food then there’s Indian, Chinese, pizza about a 15 minute walk away.
Really good value pub B&B and we would definitely stay again if in the area.
The rooms were amazing, very spacious, clean and homey - absolutely faultless.
Location is fine, it’s in a rather secluded areas, about 20 minutes car journey to Telford city centre.
The whole building itself is stunning, the decor is beautiful and the gardens are lovely and peaceful.
staff were excellent, so polite, friendly and very helpful.
Large room with sofa and armchair. Really comfortable. Bed comfortable also. Very clean. Tea, coffee biscuits supplied and replenished. Food was good at breakfast and in the evening. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In a great location for Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Telford cinema. We really enjoyed our stay.
Food was very good. The views from the hotel bedroom overlooking the golf green was stunning as was the views from the restaurant area. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The bedroom was very comfortable and was lovely to have a fridge and complimentary water. The pool was lovely.
There was a large free carpark. The hotel was easy to get to and a great base for exploring the area. Even though the hotel is situated near a main road, traffic noise wasn't very noticeable. The room was very spacious and plenty of hanging space, plus an iron and ironing board if needed.
The location is very good but look for the school. The house is one of four next to a bungalow. A Co-op is nearby. Lovely cafe very close for breakfast. The house was very warm and comfy. Lots to do in Ironbridge and Telford. The town park in Telford has lots for families to do.
The staff were very friendly, the food was nice if a little over priced. However it was enjoyable, the room was massive, which was unexpected. A quick 15 minute walk to the telford International centre and surrounding area where there are quite a few amenities.
Lovely freshly cooked breakfast with unlimited coffee & juice. The evening meal was particularly good & the waitress was really friendly. Room was small but clean & comfortable. This was our second stay & it’s so much nicer than somewhere like the premier inn.
I love the amenities and bar service. All of the staff are knowledgeable of not just one area, they can work in two different departments in one shift which I find is really amazing! Kudos to the team. 5 stars for all.
Amazing, the hotels rooms turned into an amazing rooms after refurbishing.
We were so happy with the new decoration, bathrooms, air conditioning, all 100%
At last we have a real good hotel in Telford .
Outstanding for the price, very clean and well furnished room, excellent breakfast in the morning, and the staff were very friendly, will definitely be going back if I'm in Telford again!
Very comfortable room. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Great location to enjoy the many attractions around Ironbridge, Telford and the River Severn.
Breakfast is very good, almost makes up for the gym being so poor in relation to other hotels in the area, only stopped here as other hotels were too pricy for the duration i needed.
The member of staff who welcomed me and booked me in was very friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal, with ample parking, a Starbucks and Burger King adjacent to the hotel.
