“Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with options available to order the evening before. The bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable with a large en-suite bathroom. I was particularly thankful for the ceiling fan as the weather was sunny and hot! I was also very pleased to be able to make the tea/coffee in the room. Gate Lodge is about a 3 minute walk from Hunstanton beach, but there was plenty of paid parking nearby for those who cannot walk far. It is a short walk to the town-centre. There is a lovely sunny, well-kept garden and patio area. Steven and Archie were very attentive and helpful. If in the area again I would definitely stay here.”

“We were greeted by Archie on arrival who proceeded to show us all around the facilities and then to our room which had wonderful views over the Hunstanton skyline and the sea, the room was absolutely spotless as was the whole of the property, all the necessary amenities that you need we’re all there plus more. The following morning at breakfast we met Stephen who is was very friendly a super host over breakfast which was outstanding. The property had a wonderful garden area and patio which was well established and well-kept. The property is in an excellent position to walk to the beach and all restaurants and town centre, we had a wonderful relax full stay and we will go back and also recommend Gate Lodge for anybody who wants to stay in Hunstanton. ”

“Archie and Stephen’s property is a little hidden gem. We’ve been travelling to Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton for many years, choosing to stay at the bigger hotels. This time we did something different and we’re pleased we did. This bed and breakfast is immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, and the hosts very welcoming and attentive. ”

“The guest house is right at the heart of all the amenities Hunstanton has to offer. Only a short walk from the beach and shops so you are able to pop back throughout the day to drop off purchases then nip out again. The room was very comfortable and had everything you need. The hosts were amazing and were able to cater for my dietary needs (coeliac vegetarian) with no problem at all. Feeling safe when eating away from home is paramount.”
