Breakfast was lovely and the location was great in the centre of Melrose. My hosts were lovely and could not be more helpful - in these strange times of COVID-19 , always felt safe and the room was spotless.

The hotel was a very interesting building and I loved looking around it. There was a lovely atmosphere. Parking for my Motor bike was good too. The guest beers were excellent!
United KingdomWhen we arrived we were greeted by Dawn who was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Dawn and her team had taken every precaution to keep staff and guests safe during Covid times, we were very impressed. There is a secure lock up for bicycles and the location of the hotel could not be better. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was great and the portions were large! We also had and exciting conversation with Dawn about the history of the hotel, really fascinating! Melrose is a great location and definitely we could have spent more time there. Hopefully we will be back sooner rather than later!
