The location was excellent, loads of parking, good grounds, and the local bus stop was only 100 metres from the front door. The kitchen utensils/cooker etc were good. Very quiet and restful. Accommodation clean and felt roomy for such a small cottage.

Really lovey place with beautiful grounds. We stayed one night with our dog en route to Fishguard for our ferry the following day. We were made very welcome by friendly staff and our room was lovely. Our three night stay with my parents in law at Duffryn was exceptional. The farm and the self contained accommodation of 2 double bedrooms living area and 2 bathrooms plus a private patio was stunning as were the views of the Pembrokeshire coast. Our lovely host Sally went above and beyond welcoming us with tea and a homemade lemon cake. The “welsh continental” breakfast served in her beautiful kitchen was delicious- local ham, cheese, bread, fruit and cereal and even homemade marmalade. It was a very special weekend. Newport beach and town is 5/10 minutes from the property. Parog is quite close, 2 minutes by car or 15 minute walk and highly recommended, very pretty with good free car parking. Lovely walks along the coast and also estuary. Nice little café in Parog and quite reasonable prices. Well worth a visit and a favourite of ours. Fishguard is about 15 mins by car from Parog. Lovely part of the coast to explore. Llys Meddyg is a nice restaurant - excellent Sunday Lunch (best ever)AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Beaches are fabulous.. In Newport itself lots of shops etc.. If you are further out is a bus service to get you to places though it's then a good walk down to the beaches abd obviously a good uphill walk back up.. There are carparks though the smaller ones get full close to the beaches when it's decent weather..

The room was of excellent standard, clean and spacious with amazing views out to sea. Great hosts, delicious fresh breakfasts served in your room. A short walk into the town and a shorter walk to get to the Wales Coastal Path, with glorious hikes in all directions.
