I am not a fussy person but I found the Gipsy very tired and not very clean the bedding was fine but to me everything looked like it needed a good clean, paint bathroom tiles and general interior was very worn and yellow, Dirty glass doors and windows

Only criticism was the withdrawal of the tea and coffee making facilities, owing to Covid precautions. Perfectly understandable, but had we been notified we could have taken our own travelling kettle and mugs.

  • what's in the double ensuite rooms are there any chairs to relax in and are there showers cubicles including the 4 poster bed rooms what rooms have large chairs or settee to relax in of an evening also what time is last order for breakfast and can you have it in your room no reply off hotel yet

    Dbl Rms have chairs. 4 poster rooms have 2 comfy chairs or an antique sofa. Most en suites have baths with shower over. Weekday b'fast till 9am, Sat - till 9.30am, Sun - till 10am. B'fast room service unavailable but can collect & take to your room

    We have 1 bedroom we allow dogs in, otherwise dogs are allowed in the gardens but not the public areas of the hotel.

    The Superior rooms do not have the space for an extra bed, but we do have family rooms which have the double beds for parents and single beds for children. Do you have a date in mind?
