A total breath of fresh air!! What a lovely stay, clean comfortable and so very friendly! Matt was a fantastic host and looked after my son and I during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Very peaceful location.

Matthew was very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for me. Drove out to meet me with a plug I left behind when I left. (I will send the key back as soon as I get home) really comfortable room. All I could wish for. Breakfast was excellent set me up for the day. Highly recommended.

Exceptional accommodation it a very pretty location. Mat & Lynne went overboard to make me feel welcome and valued, and I almost felt like family. Plenty of parking, with exceptional directions from Mat prior to my arrival. In room facilities were like a five star hotel (well, minus the robe and slippers. . . . lol). Tasty included breakfast offering, with varied choice on offer. Lynne's homemade marmalade was particularly tasty. Great local pub within 5 min walk.

We had planned to do a walk in Snowdonia and decided to make it into a weekend with an overnight stay here and are so glad we did. The property exceeded our expectations. Clean, very comfortable and powerful hot shower (always wanted after a good walk). There has been a lot of attention to detail making it a great place to stay. Delicious breakfast, we had just the continental, but this was plentiful. Matt is very attentive and always on hand to help. Good communication provided on location and arrival as well as nearby places to eat. Also liked the honesty bar - perfect for when you get those late-night cravings!

    Yes.... Private parking and we can box the bike in.... We have had a few bikers here and there are no issues.

Glan Aber is a former Victorian textile factory where local wool was prepared and manufactured for the textile industry. Set in the stunning Dee Valley in South Denbighshire, North Wales, the property stands in the River Trystion and dates back to the early 1800s. The property is situated within the village of Cynwyd with a local pub, The Blue Lion, together with a shop and post office. The River Dee flows through the village and is renowned for its Salmon fishing. There is easy access to tourist attractions such as the town of Bala and Llangollen and the medieval town of Ruthin. The property is within driving distance to attractions such as Surf Snowdonia, Zipwire, and Bounce Below. The area is a hot spot for walking, canoeing and cycling, and other outdoor pursuits.
Glan Aber sits on the outskirts of the lovely village of Cynwyd, within walking distance to all the village amenities including the village public house, The Blue Lion, and the village shop and post office. The Blue Lion has an extensive range of drinks and beverages and sells freshly cooked food every day, except on Mondays and Tuesdays. The River Dee flows through the village which is famous for its Salmon, Trout, and Greiling fishing. A car journey away is the spectacular Lake Brenig where you can hire a boat for all-day fishing. The village sits within the Dee Valley and is surrounded by numerous footpaths and cycle tracks, and the scenery is breathtaking all year around.
